In its tenth year, the seminar on Black women is organized by the Black Caucus of Health Workers in order to discuss the role and the development of public health leadership among Black Women. Black women from several disciplines ranging from the Congress of the United States to academe and public health sciences will address: 1) the role of women in eliminating disparity through professional development and academic credentialing; 2) development of legislative agenda; 3) mentoring of aspiring public health professionals; 4) promotion of healthy families and healthy workplace; and, 5) creation of environment to address issues of injustice and equity |
