Information system issues: Although there is a strong interest and commitment to implement community health ptograms, "actionable" data has been lacking in Maine, particularly local (county or HSA) level information. MaineHealth (a nonprofit integrated health care delivery system in southern and central Maine)has just initiated a proect in collaboration with the Maine Center for Public Health to develop and produce Community Health Profiles for the ten county region, based on expanding the state's BRFSS. The plan is to replicate the project every five years and to secure state funding to support the ongoing oversampling that is needed | ||||
